Now I address personally to you, you, you and you. As far as my meager knowledge of digital technology allow me, you rather read the Greek texts using automatic translation. But do not hurry to "leave this page" because after reading the first rows you understood that you haven't found here what you're looking for. Stay a while with us. We need you. Just a few minutes of your time.

My distant friends from Holland, I want to tell you that here in our country, we are at the foot of a towering mountain that we have to climb, but even with the latest electronic binoculars, we can't see the top. For those who live further north, can you see something more than we can see? Could you give us a helping hand? I need your help for a good cause. But this you know, it's not about me. (We know that we won't be able to reach the top anytime soon but if we did a first steep step it would be a good start. But they have to let us do so. Because now we are tied with ropes and they are ready to pull us backwards.)
You, my Italian friends, so close to us, we really need you in these difficult times. If you ever met a Greek soul will know how the souls of the rest of us are. Our own. We might be different but we are equal. You have souls, so do we.
You, who live in Germany, I don't know who you are, although I suspect. This task is even more difficult for you. But you might be more helpful than others.
My American friend, in difficult times when needed we "became Americans", felt your pain and cried with you. And if an abyss separated us from the policy of your government, we never had anything to divide us. Now we want you to become a Greek, and to stand in solidarity, because solidarity is the only weapon we have for addressing the attacks of those who have power in their hands.
And the rest of you, you know well that in your difficult times we were beside you. Next to each humble, oppressed, conquered, plundered and wronged. Now it's your turn to get even. Just kidding .. You are not obliged to do so ... but your voice is quite useful.
Here in Greece we have suffered badly, and before you rush to say that we pay for our past sins, I will tell you that it is an unthinkable heavy price for sins, that NOT all of us committed. In fact, most citizens of this country have nothing to do with what they are accused for. The pathologies of modern Greek society were created on purpose. I admit my fault for tolerance on bad policies, and I also admit my fault that I didn't try harder to make other people understand what I understood a little earlier. But from this "mistake" up to the point all of us to be punished in this cruel way, don’t you think there's a huge distance? Before you rush to leave this page considering it’s not concerning you, because you believe that "the Greeks always made the wrong choices" and blaming us for not being what others expected for us to be, just think for two minutes what do you mean by saying "the Greeks". All Greeks? Some Greeks? The Greek politicians or some other Greeks? Decide and tell them by name. Because Greek is the prime minister and the minister of finance, Greeks are the homeless, Greeks are the retired people and the employed ones, the doctor and the lawyer and the merchant and the translator and the journalist, and an actor and a singer and a graphics designer. Think of all the Greeks you know, either because they live in your home country or through your friends and acquaintances in Greece, have anything to do with what some of you mean when saying so easily "you Greeks?"
Here in Greece we are no longer free and we live in an occupied country. An unprecedented occupation and that’s why it took us so long to understand what exactly has happened. The politicians put the blame on us so we began to pity ourselves just as they were preparing to “attack” in our lives, our income, our health and education. Our European "friends" and “partners” did exactly the same. Now we are squeezed, humiliated, since they prepared an intolerable life for us, we lost resources, and our very soul and courage have been wounded as we are now ready to bankrupt. Mr. Schaeuble said so without being ashamed, as we never expected someone european could do so. And yes, I did not write accidentally "europe" with the lowercase "e" because THIS europe does not deserve to have a capital "E" letter.
I’m asking you to get interested to what's happening in this country, have your own opinion, share it with us, tell others that we want your solidarity and support for the first time after the restoration of democracy in 1974. Ask yourself, do we deserve all this? Do we deserve such punishment?
The new Greece is over, those who exercise this barbaric power over us want to take it all from the beginning. War, civil war, political unfreedom, dictatorship, and so on. Will we let them do so? As you are already informed by the media, the news and images that make their way round of the world, for our government we are nothing more than annoying cockroaches that can be executed by any possible means. They finally want to get rid of us.
But if they understand that we are not alone, then it will possible for us to stop them.
